Share in the fun during our forest appreciation weekend and track down clues to the organisms and ecosystems living among our trees. Breathe freely and walk away with a free tree seedling of your own to plant and nurture.
Mark Arbor Day and Earth Day, along with the life-giving, spirit-lifting roles trees play on our planet. Admission is free.
In cooperation with the East Quabbin Land Trust, this event will bring out folks and families at safe distances to seek living treasure on a moderate loop trail around land trust property. See / download a property map …
MEET V.I.P. FRIENDS, like Rusty Crayfish, The Lady of The Vernal Pool and The Lichens, a millions-of-years-old family that’s a bit clingy but always welcome in the woods but have dawdled over dinner for hundreds of millions of years.
It’s fun and easy to find the treasures and get your tree seedling, sugar maple or red bud. We ask that
it’s pack in, pack out to keep the trails clean, and bring a mask.
ENVIRONMENTAL BOOK SWAP: Have environmental books to share? Bring yours for our book swap and take one home.
It’s community in the woods: See you there!
